Sweet Catherine

Our sweet Catherine is 3 days old today. She was born on July 10th at 7:27AM and was a whopping 8lbs 14 ounces. Almost as big as Isaiah who was over 2 weeks late! She is so precious and we are just enjoying getting to know her.

Make the banging stop!

We want our house back. I know that many people have it much worse, but between getting a leaky shower pan fixed with replacing tile in our shower, getting a new roof, siding, replacing windows - all of which is taking a LOT longer than anticipated, I'm tired of the banging and of the house taken over. these pictures are from the first blissful morning where we had no idea what we were in store for and the kids were just excited to see the big truck. Innocence at its best.

Pregnancy, summer and songs

I'm trying to remember what a change it was after I had Hannah to go from having just one child to having two. Trying to remember that when I just had one, I didn't realize how much easier it was to go food shopping and errands and bedtimes but I also didn't know how much we would be blessed by Isaiah's presence. At the end of my pregnancy with Isaiah I tried to appreciate the last days of just having one while eagerly anticipating meeting my son. I'm at that same point now. I know I can't appreciate how things will change, but I'm trying to take each day with only two kids and count the blessings in that while I eagerly await to meet Catherine, who is her own person completely and will be such a blessing to not only John and I, but to Hannah and Isaiah. Turner Falls

This past weekend we had the opportunity to go to Turner Falls which is only about 1 1/2 hours from us. The kids had such a great time, hiking, swimming, and looking at castles. Great memories!

Our favorite pasttimes are back!

Eating ice and swimming! I guess the eating ice never really went away, but its an everyday affair now that its hot out and we can go outside in the afternoons. And the swimming - i haven't really "opened up" the pool yet, obviously, so I filled up a drink tub and let them sit it in. Not my finest mom moment, but it worked. :)

Visits!

We were so happy to have hosted my grandparents, my mom and her husband last week. the kids LOVED all the attention, and the cake and the special trips we went on. I didn't get nearly as many pictures as I would have liked, but I did get some keepers. So blessed to have had this time, especially with my grandparents.

Easter....a little late

Have I really not posted Easter pictures yet? My goodness. Where is the time going. Sorry Judy! :) Here are the adorable Easter pics of my kiddos getting so big! And then a video of the kids just making a game out of kicking the bed. Very fun!
