Mom: Where you goin Hannah?
Hannah: A cupcake party
Mom: Oh neat! Can I come?
Hannah: No
Mom: Well, how are you going to get there, who's going to take you?
Hannah: A boy
Mom: A BOY is going to take you to the cupcake party????

Hannah's first haircut!

Her hair was getting long, I know. But we're trying to grow her bangs out and it was just so wispy and blonde that I thought it would be okay. Well, as you can tell from the pre pictures, it really wasn't okay. it was just out of control. Hannah had several tears in the chair until I finally convinced her to lick the lollipop I was dragging over her lips. Then, it was smooth sailing!

Isaiah's walking debut

yes, i know, he walked like 2 weeks ago and I'm just now posting. I'd like to blame it on how busy we've been.....is it working? anyway, his walking is just the cutest and he is so proud of himself! check it out!! He's now almost running by the way.

Home Sweet Home

Yay! We're finally home! What a wonderful month it was in Philadelphia with trips to the beach, birthday celebrations, swimming in the pool, and cousin time! The kids had a great time with their cousins and Hannah is still asking where they are. Since we've been back Isaiah has started walking!! And oddly enough, Hannah woke up that morning telling me that Isaiah was going to walk. that afternoon, sure enough! I think they had a conversation about it! I've tried to pick some of the best of the best from our trip.

Shortly after Isaiah's b-day celebration we headed down the shore for a few days of beach and sun. the kids really loved the beach and hannah loved jumping in the waves. 

Let's bring some updates

So in the past couple of weeks, my little boy turned 1!!!! and we're in philly for a month seeing family and friends. The kids did great on the plane on the way out here and we celebrated his birthday two days after we got into town. The below pics are from that special day. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by and it was a whole year ago that we were blessed with our little (or big) boy.
